Illustration, animation, murals and handdrawn, handpulled screenprints..

Thijs draws whatever he likes or likes make something boring look good. His proces comes mostly from screenprinting and more static styles, like persian carpets and old ethiopian bible illustrations.

When making a design he collects a lot of ideas and subjects. Then sketches everything separately, simplifies it, distorts it, plays with the perspective, puzzles everything together and works it out in a few colors, resulting in busy but clear illustration.
